Taco Takedown is the Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association’s signature taco cook-off, where local nonprofits bring the heat in a friendly competition for cash prizes and community bragging rights. Held at Concrete Street Amphitheater, this flavorful fundraiser features all-you-can-eat tacos, live music, family-friendly fun, and a chance for attendees to vote for their favorite team in the coveted People’s Choice Award.

More than just a culinary showdown, Taco Takedown brings together food lovers, community leaders, and charitable organizations for a day filled with flavor, connection, and giving back. All proceeds benefit nonprofits making a difference in the Coastal Bend.
