Founded in 1972, Leadership Corpus Christi (LCC) is proud to be the second-longest-running community leadership program in Texas—and the third-longest in the nation. For over five decades, LCC has provided a rigorous 10-month journey that equips emerging and established leaders with the tools, insight, and drive to build a stronger, more vibrant Coastal Bend.
With more than 1,500 graduates and counting, the program has cultivated a dynamic network of changemakers who continue to shape our region across every sector—from business and education to government, healthcare, and the arts.
To keep this legacy alive, the Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association (LCCA) was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting graduates beyond the classroom. Through alumni engagement, service opportunities, and continued leadership development, LCCA empowers its members to lead with purpose, passion, and a commitment to servant leadership.
LCC alumni have been instrumental in championing major community projects, including the creation of the Texas State Aquarium and the transformation of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi into a four-year institution. Time and again, alumni have shown up to spark reform, advocate for progress, and move the Coastal Bend forward.
This is more than a program—it’s a legacy of leadership that continues to shape the future of our community.
